Week 14 - FINAL ANIMATION

I began by creating a very quick cut together of my animated scenes, now with shading and backgrounds. This was more of final proof of concept, rather than a final cut, as there was not sound design or edits. For this initial test, Movie maker was used. While this is a software not used in the industry, it was done to save on time, and just to gather proof of concept, rather than create a professional final edit. The Final animation will be cut together in ADOBE PREMIER PRO.

FINAL CUT V1.1
-Colour and Backgrounds added
-Score Needs to be added
-Cuts need to be tighter
Total Run time: 84 seconds

The next cut, while still no sound design, contained a series of tighter cuts. This made the flow and continuity of the animation much better. Once the cuts were at a place I was happy with, I began work on the score and sound design.

This was the first test of the tighter cut. While I was happy with the cut, I exported the video in the incorrect CODAC, so the aspect ratio and quality were both wrong. I then reexported the film in the correct codec, that being the H.253 codec. The second test was exported at 1080p. All resolutions and codecs that I will be using for my Animation, as well as the equipment used to export them, are all used extensively in the industry.

Below is the Final Version of my animation, complete with sound design and score. The score and effects really help elevate the final animation to the next level. Most of the sound design was found from Royalty free websites, and all sounds from these websites were in the public domain.

The initial plan was to do the sound design myself. But during the project, I deemed it more appropriate to allocate additional time to the character animations, and use outsourcing for the SFX, rather than rushing the final parts of the character animations. The final animation was exported in 4K with an h.253 codec

I am over the moon with the outcome of the animation. Below is the timeline of the final cut in Adobe Premiere Pro.
